Ground Beef Tacos

Ground Beef Tacos Ingredients:

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning (or mix cumin, paprika, chili powder, and oregano)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Taco shells or tortillas
  • Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, avocado

Ground Beef Tacos Instructions:

  1. Cook the Beef: Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until soft.
  2. Brown the Ground Beef: Add the ground beef to the pan and cook, breaking it up with a spoon until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Season the Beef: Stir in the taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add a little water (about 1/4 cup) and simmer for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  4. Assemble the Tacos: Fill the taco shells or tortillas with the seasoned beef, and add your favorite toppings like shredded lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, avocado, and salsa.
  5. Serve: Enjoy immediately with a side of rice or beans for a complete meal!
